Born as Lior Fridman on December 22nd 1976, in Tel Aviv, Israel.

He began drawing at his early teenage years, and around the same time started hoping to get tattooed one day. By the age of 15 he finally got his first tattoo at Psycho Tattoos in Tel Aviv, and fell in love with that medium of art and decided that he wanted to become a tattoo artist. Lior started visiting the tattoo studio as often as he could, becoming friends with the artist, Helping in any way he could, and of course, getting more tattoos. and at the age of late 16 he finally got his first professional tattoo apprenticeship under Avi Vanunu, and started tattooing when he turned 18 in early 1995.

3 years later, Lior got an offer to move and work in the USA, which was a long time dream of his. He ended up in Miami Florida, where he spent the next couple of years at Tattoos By Lou in South Beach. During that time, the studio had a sign on their door, where they would change the names of the artists working there at any shift and day, and also used it to joke about artists names and reputations. One day a piercer had changed Lior's name to Liorcifer, due to the dark style of art that he has always been known for. He loved it, and been using that business name ever since then.

Lior has moved to NY in late 90's and worked in Astoria, Queens for about a year, while spending as much time as he could at his long time Mentor’s studio- Last Rites Tattoo- Helping, hanging out, and getting more tattoos. and by early 2000 he started working there full time, and got his second professional apprenticeship - becoming Paul Booth's first ever apprentice. He went on and spent 7 years there, which had helped tremendously in his tattooing and other artistic skills, as well as gaining much bigger notoriety in the tattoo industry.

In 2007 he joined forced with a couple of his long time colleges: Tim Kern, and Dan Marshall. and opened Tribulation Tattoo studio in East Village NYC.

And then in late 2012 Liorcifer continued to move on and opened his own private studio- Infernum Tatoos in Manhattan.

in 2017 Liorcifer had to close down Infernum due to personal reasons, put his life in storage, and gone on the road full time, while still tattooing in NYC every other month and still touring around the world, as well as creating other arts and exhibit them globally.

Lior's art has always been very dark, demonic, and horror based, as he's always been a huge horror fan and a Satanic metal head. His tattoo style and skills has gotten bigger and better , which has gained his a very good reputation and had him featured, and still is, in many magazines, books, DVDs, TV and online spots in the tattoo industry, as well as other fine arts, music and horror genre publications worldwide.
